Being surrounded on all sides by media whose last concern is the people its meant to serve can be constantly disheartening. However, there will always be a movement of people who look for other avenues to get opposing messages heard. The voice of dissent is alive in our streets, in grafitti and brave billboards, in event posters for grassroots groups, in handmade zines and independent bookstores.
This little photo journal attempts to capture and record these voices.
